As registrars for Brighton and Hove Register Office, we have married and civil partnered thousands of people. We have conducted legally binding ceremonies in the Register Office (which really is just an office with a desk), the Floral Suite, the Regency Room and the Council Chamber at Brighton Town Hall. And we know all the licensed venues around Brighton and Hove, conducting ceremonies in the Royal Pavilion, on Brighton Bandstand and Palace Pier, in the Amex stadium and Stanmer House, in the Secret Garden and at the top of the i360, to name a few. Then there are all the hotels…..

The point is, we’ve seen it all: wardrobe malfunctions, unruly dogs (and other family members!), late guests, tears of joy and relief, mad weather….whatever happens, we’ve handled it.*

So when we say We Do, we really mean it. We Do all the work, so you can enjoy your ceremony. We Do the planning, the writing, helping with personal vows (because you want to write those yourselves, don’t you?), suggesting elements you might not have thought about, and then both attend your day to make it happen. We Do ceremonies on the beach, in your garden or home, in a yurt or in a field. We Do a ceremony like it’s the only date in our diary, from our first chat to your grand exit. Because that’s what the whole celebration is about, you and memories made and shared for a lifetime.

*and we’ve handled it quickly because as registrars, we’ve come from another ceremony, and been on our way to the next!
